Four generations of service
Anton Chiapuzio Sr., was my Grandfather in was an Electrical Contractor back in early 1940's in Hurley, Wisconsin. He started ACC Electric, which stood for his name Anton Ceasar Chiapuzio and license which today my Uncle Donald still runs. Yes he is an Electrical Contractor too. So is my Uncle Clarence, Uncle Steve, Cousin Donald, Cousin Craig, Cousin Gary and Cousin Donald. My Grandfather had moved to California around 1946.
My father Anton Chiapuzio was Electrical Engineer first of Southern California Edison Company in 1951 than for North American Rockwell in 1953. While working on the Apollo Space Program he trademarked a couple of electrical patents. In 1970 he retired from aerospace and started Anthony Electrical an electrical contractor company, working in the field until 1980 when he started Anthony Wholesale Electric, selling materials. Anthony Wholesale Electric is located in Santa Ana, California and is known in the industry as a well-established and reliable company.
I, Jim Chiapuzio, owner of Anthony Electric have worked for my uncle's and my father since 1970 taking over the Electrical Contractors license of Anthony Electric in 1980. My brother Tony now owns and runs Anthony Wholesale Electric and my brother Ron went from his own wholesale house to his specialty lighting company, Signature lighting. As you can see it's in our blood. My son is the latest in a long line of electrical contractors starting and running his own company, Chiapuzio Electric in 2003.
Collectively we have come from a long list of electrical contractors, engineers and wholesalers. Our experiences as a family have helped to further our experiences and capabilities. You just don't find this kind of long term family business anymore. We have passed skills and knowledge down our family tree as we have built up our experiences and reputation.
